Welcome to the Tibetan Buddhist Society in Perth, Western Australia.
The Tibetan Buddhist Society offers regular classes in meditation and Buddhism to suit students at every level. All classes are held in our traditional Tibetan temple in the Swan Valley.
Under the direction of our resident teacher, Les Sheehy, and the leadership of our Melbourne-based spiritual head Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden, students of all ages and from many different walks of life come together to learn practices which enhance greater happiness and inner peace.
If you are interested in attending a class, please check our teaching schedule. For those classes requiring registration, please contact us.
We are also glad to welcome group tours of our traditional Tibetan Buddhist temple, the first of its kind to be built in Western Australia.
IF YOU ARE ATTENDING ONE OF OUR EVENING EVENTS NEXT WEEK,
It has come to our attention that between March 17th & March 22nd, Toodyay Road will be closed between Roe Highway and James Road (along the railway line) from 7pm until 5am on each of the above days. These closures should not affect your trip to our centre, however, if you access Toodyay Road (and then Campersic Road) via Roe Highway it may affect your return journey after the event has concluded.
If these closures are likely to impact you we recommend allowing sufficient time to arrive (in case of an early closure) and we suggest making alternative plans for your journey home. Please note that Toodyay Road (and then Campersic Road) may be accessed from Great Eastern Highway via Farrall Road and Campersic Road can be accessed directly from Great Northern Highway via Oakover Road.
In what is a wonderful opportunity for dharma students, Rinpoche will give teachings and grant rare & precious highest yoga tantra initiations.
